Shanti is a 1976 SeaRay Fly Bridge Sedan. Powered with twin fresh water cooled inboard Merc. 260hp engines. I worked on this boat a lot. She was sitting in Mystic Seaport in Connecticut with bad engines and needing  most everything else too.

Once repowered and cleaned up she would cruise at 20 knots and was a very comfortable weekender. Very nice for exploring Long Island Sound.

Must visit Greenport for lunch, boat parts or to spend the night, heavy surge however.

Boating in the rain is actually fun after you reach the anchorage. This is West Neck at Shelter Island, NY.

Boating just wouldn’t be any fun without friends. Mattituck might seem like a long way to go for breakfast, but it was worth it.

A stinkpotter and luffer coexist on a mooring at Block Island. Primavera practically lives here in the summer. We came out for a weekend visit.

This is why we left New England. We went boating this day and had to break 1/2 inch of ice in the harbor to get out to the Connecticut River. A very unique experience.

Cold river, warm hearts. A good friend came allong on our last outing before the move.
