If your boat is like mine it has a gap between the pan and the wall in the head of about an inch. It is a terrible dirt catcher and looks tacky.  I filled the gap with injectable expanding foam from a can after  masking the wall and pan. I then trimmed it flat with an exacto knife and used some tub and tile caulk to finnish it off.
